CHANGE OF A DRESS:
No wonder the author used the word Cinderella in
her title... The main character is wonderful and actually portrayed as a
very ordinary girl who does not have a trust fund - but rather some
wonderful friends who are willing to go through some great experiences
with her. Very well written, entertaining as all heck and fun! fun! fun!

The writing is truly well done in these books -
making the storyline flow and creating an enchanting story - where
dreams can come true (even if they don't quite turn out the way you
thought they might). I can't wait to read the rest of this excellent
series. -- bookshipper.blogspot.com

Dear Maya Gold,
Thank you for writing the book Cinderella Cleaners. My school had a book
fair and your book caught my eye. When I read it I couldn't put it down.
My favorite parts are when Diana loses her shoe when she runs to the
limo and Adam grabs it. Also when Nelson shows the girls the dresses he
made for them to see Angel.

"What I like most about
the two books that begin the Cinderella Cleaners series by Maya Gold is
that main character Diana Donato does not become famous when she is
brushed with fame; she does not taunt when she has the opportunity to
flaunt. She remains an Everyperson whatever happens, and when she makes
mistakes, she understands why and rectifies them for the right reasons.
The bottom line is that I like Diana, and I think readers will too...
Diana is comfortable in her own skin, although she continually has to
prove it like every middler. I believe Maya Gold has tapped into a
winning formula with the Cinderella Cleaners series." --
Bruce DuBoff, middle
school librarian, Phiferbooks.blogspot.com
The Cinderella Cleaners
series is fun, fast-paced, and lighthearted. The stories focus on
friendship and middle school drama with hair-brained schemes and hijinks
for a little added excitement. Fairytale overtones spice up the
adventures with happily ever after moments. --
